HIL systems for combustion engines
For the development, commissioning and acceptance of control units for combustion engines, SILVER ATENA develops hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems. The systems simulate and measure all required interfaces and thus can operate engine control units without real components.
Areas of application:
- ECU hardware and software commissioning and acceptance tests
- ECU system integration tests (closed loop, simulations with realistic combustion engine models))
- ECU hardware qualification tests
- ECU hardware production and end-of-line tests
- Error simulation of I/Os and busses
- Automated acceptance test for ECUs according to aviation standards
